How to download Fortnite
Epic Games have opted to self-publish Fortnite for Android by bypassing Google Play which makes the download and installation procedure quite different from the usual. To download Fortnite, you will need to download it from Fortnite.com and then change the setting to allow the installation of apps from an unknown source which will make your phone less secure.
Since there is no direct deal with most Android device manufacturers, you will not be able to download Fortnite directly from the game launcher like in the case of Samsung device, you will have to download Fortnite installer from Epic games.
You will get access to the installer by accessing the link or scan the QR code on the PC screen on your mobile phone. You can know install once you have downloaded the file and you may need to grant storage permissions for this process to be completed.
You will then tap Open at the end of the installation process or just open the Fortnite installer app from the app drawer or home screen. For example, in the case of Samsung phone, you are going to be asked to confirm storage permissions for the installation which you will tap allow when you see it. You may also have to give the app permission to install the fortnite game and if a system message prompts you, just go to settings and then tick the box for allowing from this source and then go back and start installing the game.
When you are done with this, open the app and the Fortnite Battle Royale will start to download which might take a while and all you have to do is just wait. Once the download is complete, all you have to do is to sign into your account or create new ones and start playing the game.
